Dubai’s Revibe raises $17 million to transform tech buying

Revibe, a Dubai‑based marketplace for refurbished electronics, has secured $17 million to improve product quality, enhance customer experience and expand from the Gulf into Africa and other emerging markets. The company aims to make renewed devices feel “as good as new” while offering a more affordable and sustainable alternative to buying brand‑new tech.

Co‑founder Hamza Iraqui said the main barrier is consumer habit, not competition. To build trust, every device undergoes a 50‑point check, includes a 12‑month warranty and is supported by in‑house customer care. Revibe’s marketplace model lets approved sellers list devices while being continuously rated on quality.

Currently focused on phones and laptops, the platform is moving into tablets, wearables, TVs and more. Growing awareness in the UAE and Saudi Arabia has helped Revibe attract a broad customer base, supporting its goal of making refurbished tech a mainstream choice.
