Deutsche Telekom’ PASM signed 100MW wind PPA in Germany

Power and Air Condition Solution Management GmbH (PASM), a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with energy group EnBW to procure wind energy in Germany.

Commenting on the development, Bernd Schulte-Sprenger, managing director of PASM, said: “Our partnership with EnBW under the power purchase agreement for the He Dreiht wind farm enables us to jointly advance the energy transition and make a good contribution towards achieving our climate targets.”

PASM was founded in 2004 and is the energy supplier to the units and companies of Deutsche Telekom AG in Germany, with a core focus on the procurement, provision, and supply of energy.

To recall, DT has previously said it plans to deploy 300MWh of battery energy storage systems across Germany, including in its head offices in Munich, via PASM and Norwegian modular energy storage firm Pixii. PASM recently placed an order for 60MWh of energy storage systems with Intilion.
