Amsterdam-based repair specialist ThePhoneLab has raised €2.5 million to accelerate its expansion and broaden services across the Netherlands. The funding will support new locations, hiring, and further development of its customer-centric repair model, which focuses on speed, quality parts, and transparent pricing for smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
The company positions repair as a practical route to extend device lifespans, cut costs for consumers and businesses, and reduce electronic waste. By prioritising refurbishment over replacement, ThePhoneLab aligns with the circular economy, helping to lower embodied carbon and keep valuable materials in use for longer.
With demand rising for reliable, warranty-backed fixes, the fresh capital is set to bolster operational efficiency and partnerships, including B2B programmes for fleet maintenance. ThePhoneLab’s growth underscores a broader shift in Europe towards repairability and right-to-repair legislation, turning sustainable servicing into a mainstream expectation rather than a niche option.
