Reuse Technology Group, an Essex-based specialist in IT asset disposal, has appointed Emeka Nwadike as its new chief executive officer. Nwadike brings extensive experience from his time at Mazuma and Twig, as well as his background as co-founder of Mobi Market, a prominent player in the secondary mobile market. His arrival marks a strategic move to broaden Reuse Technology Group’s operations into the mobile technology sector, building on the firm’s established reputation in networking equipment refurbishment and sustainable IT services.
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Rainham, Reuse Technology Group has traditionally focused on services such as WEEE-compliant recycling, secure data erasure, and comprehensive IT lifecycle support, including equipment deployment, logistics, and resale. Nwadike’s remit is to steer the company towards greater involvement with mobiles, laptops, and tablets, areas that have previously played a lesser role in the business. He aims to foster growth by leveraging the company’s strong credentials and exploring new opportunities for collaboration within the expanding market for mobile technology.
Darrel Arjoon, founder of Reuse Technology Group, expressed confidence in Nwadike’s leadership, highlighting his respected standing in sustainability and resource management. Arjoon emphasised that Nwadike’s innovative outlook and proven track record will be instrumental as the company pursues its ambitions in e-waste solutions. Nwadike, reflecting on his longstanding professional relationship with Arjoon, noted a shared enthusiasm for new ventures and a commitment to driving positive change in how electronic waste is managed.
