Additionally, Vodafone is rolling out a trade-in app for business customers, offering immediate savings for eligible devices and further promoting eco-friendly practices.

Vodafone’s commitment to sustainability is underscored by the growing concern over e-waste, which has surged dramatically in recent years. The company highlights that, in 2023, the average individual generated approximately 8 kg of e-waste, contributing to an alarming total of 61.3 million tonnes globally. By providing tools like the Carbon Calculator and encouraging responsible device trade-ins, Vodafone aims to mitigate the environmental impact of the telecommunications sector, which has been estimated to account for up to 2.8% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
