Globe Commerce OÜ introduces smartphone buyback terminals in Estonia

In collaboration with GET-RE, Globe Commerce OÜ has launched an innovative smartphone buyback solution in Estonia. The first terminals, known as REboxes, have been installed in ONOFF stores located in Tallinn and Tartu. This marks a significant milestone for GET-RE as it introduces a convenient and sustainable way for Estonian consumers to participate in the circular economy.

The successful installation of REboxes in ONOFF, one of Estonia’s leading electronics retailers with ten stores nationwide, highlights the strong partnership between GET-RE and Globe Commerce OÜ. These terminals offer customers the opportunity to trade in their old phones quickly and easily while supporting environmentally conscious practices. By making the trade-in process seamless, the initiative encourages consumers to reduce electronic waste and extend the lifecycle of mobile devices.

The REbox terminals provide multiple benefits for both businesses and users. Customers can insert their old smartphones into the terminal, receive an instant valuation, and exchange the device for an ONOFF gift card. Unusable phones are responsibly recycled to minimise environmental impact. This initiative not only promotes sustainability but also demonstrates a commitment to eco-friendly practices while providing a simple, efficient solution for recycling electronic devices.
