GSMA unveils new accreditation to strengthen skills across the mobile industry

The GSMA has introduced a new professional accreditation designed to help telecoms workers deepen their understanding of the technologies shaping today’s mobile ecosystem. The Mastering Mobile & Telecoms Accreditation, launching next month, aims to support professionals across all roles by giving them a stronger grasp of the fundamentals needed to navigate a fast‑moving, highly regulated sector.

The programme covers key areas such as 5G, mobile privacy and network evolution, delivered through self‑paced modules, tutorials and practical assessments so learners can fit training around their existing roles. The GSMA says the goal is to help organisations build internal capability while enabling individuals to progress their careers with recognised, structured development.

Participants who complete the programme will earn a GSMA Advance Accreditation, signalling industry‑level expertise and a commitment to ongoing learning. The organisation says the initiative is not only about education, but also about equipping the wider industry to make better decisions and support the evolution of global connectivity.
