Breezy enters the European Commission’s industry 5.0 network

Breezy has officially joined the European Commission’s Industry 5.0 Community of Practice (CoP 5.0), marking a significant step in its commitment to innovative industrial practices. This development follows the successful implementation of an AI-enhanced robotic line in Poland, designed specifically for assessing and refurbishing second-hand devices. By becoming part of this community, Breezy aims to align itself with leading European stakeholders in the industrial sector.

The CoP 5.0 serves as a collaborative platform for various participants in the European innovation ecosystem, facilitating the exchange of best practices and the co-creation of strategies for Industry 5.0 implementation. This initiative fosters cooperation among local, regional, national, and European entities working to promote the principles of Industry 5.0, which Breezy is actively applying in its Polish production operations. This approach aims to enhance collaboration and drive meaningful advancements across the industry.

Industry 5.0 reimagines the manufacturing landscape by focusing not only on efficiency and productivity but also on the broader societal impacts of industrial activities. This paradigm shift places a strong emphasis on worker welfare, leveraging technology to create a more prosperous environment while remaining mindful of ecological boundaries. The integration of human-centric practices is essential, ensuring that technological advancements contribute positively to society as a whole.

Andrii Kosar, the CEO of Breezy, expressed enthusiasm about joining the CoP 5.0, highlighting the opportunity to promote synergies in both green and digital transitions. He noted that the platform underscores the importance of human-centricity, sustainability, and resilience—core values that resonate with Breezy’s mission. Looking forward to 2025, Breezy aims to contribute to the development of the Business Case 5.0 for Sustainable Competitiveness and to foster place-based innovation through HUBS 5.0, further solidifying its role in advancing Industry 5.0 principles.
