Turkish technology company Getmobil has entered a strategic partnership with Samsung to strengthen the country’s refurbished electronics market. The collaboration introduces an integrated trade‑in and buyback service that manages the entire journey of a used smartphone, from valuation and home collection to refurbishment and resale, through a single digital system.
Getmobil’s approach is built around trust, clear standards and user experience. By standardising processes and making pricing more transparent, the company aims to remove much of the uncertainty that has traditionally surrounded second‑hand device transactions. Working with Samsung adds brand credibility and scale, helping to formalise a segment that has often been fragmented.
Beyond Turkey, the partners see the model as potentially transferable to other regions with similar market dynamics. By demonstrating that refurbished electronics can be managed through a structured, end‑to‑end framework, the initiative positions Turkey as a reference point for growth in the wider circular technology economy.
