Pandas shortlisted for Deutsche Telekom green future Award

Greek technology company Pandas has been named a finalist in the Circularity category for the 2025 Deutsche Telekom Green Future Best Practice Awards. Known for its automated trade-in terminals, Pandas was founded on the bold principle that every new device sold should mean another device is reused, helping to make the circular economy a practical reality. Their terminals are now active in several European countries, making it easier for consumers to trade in and recycle their smartphones effortlessly.

This recognition from Deutsche Telekom highlights Pandas’ commitment to combining technology, transparency, and convenience to extend the life of used devices. The Green Future Best Practice Awards, now in their fourth year, celebrate companies driving innovation in sustainability, circular business models, and climate-impact reduction across the telecom sector. Pandas finds itself among respected peers, with other finalists including CTDI and a collaborative project from SAGEMCOM, Infineon Technologies, Citronics, and Fairphone.

Pandas will be joining fellow finalists at the Telekom Campus Fair in Bonn on 2–3 July 2025. With its Vision A.I. platform, Pandas is helping to move the industry beyond outdated trade-in processes, enabling instant and automated device recovery. This milestone reflects both the growing importance of circularity in telecom and the progress Pandas is making towards a more sustainable future.
