Swappie, the Finnish company known for refurbishing and reselling iPhones, has rolled out a new reusable packaging system designed to make the trade‑in process safer and more reliable for customers. Developed in partnership with Packaging‑as‑a‑Service provider RePack, the tailor‑made “Sales‑pack Kit” aims to remove the anxiety users often feel when sending high‑value devices through the post.

The pack features an anonymous exterior, tamper‑evident construction and built‑in padding to protect phones during transit, reducing the risk of damage or theft. By sending the pack as soon as a customer accepts a quote, Swappie hopes to simplify reverse logistics and encourage more people to complete their trade‑ins.

RePack says the reusable design is what makes the upgraded packaging viable, as the same unit can be used repeatedly without driving up costs. This durability allows for a higher‑quality, more secure structure that improves collection rates while supporting sustainability goals. Swappie believes the system shows that reusable packaging can work at scale and directly strengthen customer confidence.
