Vodafone opens logistics hub in Luxembourg for circularity

Vodafone has launched a major pan‑European logistics hub in Bettembourg, Luxembourg, designed to improve the resilience and sustainability of its hardware supply chain across the continent. The centrally located facility will serve as a distribution centre for mobile, fixed and fibre‑network equipment, enabling Vodafone to reach all European markets within 24 hours.

Sustainability is embedded into the architecture and operation of the hub, which is targeting a BREEAM “Outstanding” rating, one of the highest environmental certifications for logistics infrastructure. Its location within Luxembourg’s transport network also helps reduce unnecessary miles travelled when deploying network equipment, supporting Vodafone’s wider carbon‑reduction objectives.

The hub is an important part of Vodafone’s long‑term plan to build a more efficient, centralised and lower‑emission supply chain that supports the rollout of next‑generation connectivity. By creating a unified distribution point, the company can reduce duplication, optimise stock levels, and improve delivery efficiency, ensuring faster deployment of infrastructure while minimising environmental impact across its European operations.
