VodafoneThree signs exclusive 3 year consumer deal with Fonehouse

VodafoneThree has agreed a three-year arrangement making it the sole consumer network partner across Fonehouse’s nationwide stores and online channels, covering both Vodafone- and Three-branded mobile services and mobile broadband. The tie-up expands the merged operator’s presence on the high street as self-operated retail footprints shrink, while giving Fonehouse customers direct access to tariffs and connectivity from the UK’s newly combined network group.

The partnership is set to underpin joint marketing, widen handset choice, and reinforce distribution ahead of the phased alignment of Vodafone and Three’s consumer propositions over the coming years. Founded in 1994, Fonehouse runs a franchise-led retail model alongside a growing e-commerce arm, specialising in consumer contracts, SIM-only plans and devices, with a long-standing reputation for value and close links to UK networks and distributors.

Executives welcomed the agreement, describing it as a meaningful step in extending VodafoneThree’s reach through trusted retail partners and a shared commitment to deliver quality and value for customers. The move positions both companies to benefit from consolidated branding and streamlined routes to market as the merged operator progresses its integration.

Jon Shaw, Consumer Operations Director at VodafoneThree, mentioned that their “new partnership with Fonehouse is an important step in expanding VodafoneThree’s reach through trusted retail partners.” To which Ben Branson, CEO of Fonehouse, commented that this “long-term agreement reinforces our shared commitment to delivering quality and value to customers.”
