Foxway has begun expanding its technology centre in Tartu, Estonia, with a project covering nearly 10,000 square metres. The investment will increase the company’s capacity to process used technology as demand for trade-in, buyback and refurbished-device services grows across Europe. Once completed, the facility’s total floor area will reach approximately 16,890 square metres.
Foxway collects more than three million technology devices annually, with approximately 88% given a second life. The expanded centre will bring operations currently spread across two buildings together, while creating more opportunities for automation, collaboration and improvements in processing efficiency. Around 600 specialists currently work at the Tartu site in refurbishment and circular technology operations.
The facility is expected to be completed in 2027. By increasing its processing capacity, Foxway aims to help more businesses establish or scale device trade-in programmes and make quality-checked refurbished technology available to a wider customer base. The investment supports a circular model in which devices are collected, assessed and prepared for another period of use instead of being discarded or left unused.
