VendreMonMobile expands beyond buyback to cover the full smartphone lifecycle

French comparison platform VendreMonMobile, active in the mobile buyback space since 2010, is entering a new phase of development with the launch of an upgraded platform and a broader positioning. The company is evolving from a pure buyback comparison service into what it describes as the first all-in-one platform covering buyback, refurbished purchasing, and device rental.

This repositioning reflects a wider shift in the circular economy, where consumers are no longer limited to resale, but increasingly navigate between multiple ownership models. With this update, VendreMonMobile aims to centralise these options into a single interface, offering greater visibility across the entire smartphone lifecycle.

While the “Buy” and “Rent” sections are expected to go live in the coming weeks, the platform is already rolling out a fully redesigned version of its core buyback service. The upgrade introduces several data-driven features designed to improve decision-making for users. These include access to six months of historical pricing data, short-term price trend forecasts, and a system of personalised alerts notifying users of market fluctuations. An instant valuation tool also allows users to compare offers from refurbishers based on criteria such as payment speed, shipping conditions, and customer service.

Beyond functionality, the platform is placing increased emphasis on transparency and education. A newly introduced “value chain” section breaks down how resale prices are determined and provides insight into the refurbishment process, including grading standards and testing procedures. The objective is to give consumers a clearer understanding of both the economic and environmental dimensions of their choices.

With this expansion, VendreMonMobile is positioning itself not only as a comparison engine, but as a broader gateway into the circular smartphone economy. Early access registration for the upcoming “Buy” and “Rent” features is already open, as the company prepares to complete what it sees as a unified approach to device lifecycle management in the French market.
