Vodafone Xchange, launching this September, allows customers to exchange their phone for a new one every year without any early upgrade fees or remaining payments on their old Phone Plan. This service is available on select new and ‘Pristine’ refurbished devices. Vodafone offers 0% APR Phone Plans up to 36 months with flexible upfront costs, making it a smart choice for buying a new phone. Additionally, Vodafone is the only network provider that gives customers the full value of their phone when they exchange, crediting back any excess value over the remaining balance on their Phone Plan.
With Vodafone Xchange, staying updated with the latest tech is easier than ever. Customers can get a new phone every year on a 24-month Phone Plan or a year early on longer plans by returning their phone in good condition. This service is available on selected new and refurbished phones, and all Vodafone Pay Monthly Phone Plans allow customers to spread the cost over up to 36 months at 0% APR with flexible upfront costs.
Commenting on this initiative, Rob Winterschladen, Consumer Director, Vodafone UK stated that “We’re launching Vodafone Xchange, allowing customers to get a new smartphone every year. There’s no early upgrade fees or costs to Xchange – customers simply return their existing phone, and they’ll be nothing left to pay on their old phone plan, so they can upgrade to a new one. It’s really that simple.
“This, combined with the UK’s only Lifetime Service Promise, means we are offering customers market-leading choice when it comes to their mobile phone. Whether that is getting a new phone every year or keeping their existing phone for longer, Vodafone offers something for everyone. Another great example of why we are The Nation’s Network.”
Vodafone also offers the UK’s only Lifetime Service Promise on all Pay Monthly smartphones, including Battery Refresh and Lifetime Warranty at no extra cost. This means customers can choose to get a new phone every year or make their current phone last longer. Vodafone refurbishes or resells 97% of the phones they receive, with the rest being recycled, providing an eco-friendly option for customers.
