Reboxed entrusts logistics and quality control to BlankIT

New sustainability tool by Nokia targets private networks

Reboxed, the leading platform dedicated to offering refurbished devices sustainably, has announced a new partnership with BlankIT, a company renowned for its expertise in device quality control. This collaboration aims to enhance Reboxed’s mission of providing high-quality refurbished products to consumers in an environmentally friendly manner.

Under this partnership, BlankIT will manage Reboxed’s device logistics and ensure stringent quality assurance. This move is part of Reboxed’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in the sustainable circular economy by utilising BlankIT’s advanced quality control systems. The regrading process by BlankIT will help Reboxed maintain high performance standards for each device, thereby boosting consumer confidence.

This partnership follows the recent launch of Reboxed’s “Circularity as a Service” platform, which helps retailers and brands incorporate circular sales into their operations. BlankIT, founded by former TMTI First technical director Paul Schofield, specialises in quality control for the secondary mobile market, including services like device inspection, configuration, data erasure, and kitting. Schofield, who played a key role in establishing common grading standards, believes that focusing on product quality to meet various consumer price points is more important than striving for “like-new” standards.

Reboxed co-founder Matt Thorne expressed that “Our dedication to providing the highest quality refurbished devices aligns perfectly with BlankIT’s commitment to quality and sustainability. Their unmatched proficiency in device logistics and regrading will ensure that our customers receive devices that perform flawlessly.”
