Tet earns positive EcoVadis sustainability assessment

Latvian telecoms operator Tet has achieved a “Good” result in its first corporate sustainability review by EcoVadis, marking an important milestone in the company’s environmental and social journey. The assessment recognises Tet’s overall approach to sustainability and its efforts to integrate responsible practices into its business operations.

As part of the evaluation, Tet performed particularly well in areas linked to people and workplace standards. According to the EcoVadis criteria, the company ranks within the top quarter of telecommunications firms for labour and human rights, highlighting its focus on fair treatment, employee wellbeing and ethical conduct.

The EcoVadis recognition provides Tet with an independent benchmark as it continues to develop its sustainability strategy. The result underlines the growing importance of transparent ESG performance in the telecoms sector, as operators face increasing expectations from customers, partners and regulators to demonstrate responsible and sustainable business practices.
