German mySWOOOP secures D2C ReCommerce as its new majority partner

D2C ReCommerce, a branch of the Weltbild D2C Group, has become the new majority owner of the German mySWOOOP GmbH from Bremen. The founders and directors, Simon and Benjamin Gabriel, will stay in charge of the business and work with the new partner to grow mySWOOOP as a top ReCommerce company and speed up its scaling, the company said in a press release.

Myswooop is a platform that works with 400 local partners across Germany, as well as running three stores in Bremen. The company buys and sells new and used tech products, such as smartphones, laptops and game consoles. The refurbisher claims to have about one million customers and made 45 million euros in 2023.

This partnership seems to open up new opportunities for mySWOOOP to grow and expand its business. By leveraging the complementary strengths of both companies, they aim to not only consolidate their leadership in the B2B market, but also increase their market share in the consumer market.
