Logitech and eBay expand refurbished device availability

Logitech has broadened the availability of its refurbished devices through the eBay Refurbished brand store in the US and its websites across Europe and North America. This initiative includes a range of certified refurbished products such as mice, keyboards, tablet accessories, gaming gear, and Bluetooth speakers, all offered at reduced prices. These items undergo rigorous testing and come with necessary accessories, manuals, and a warranty, ensuring they meet high standards of performance and reliability.

The expansion caters to the growing consumer interest in secondhand shopping, particularly among younger shoppers. Refurbished products provide an affordable alternative to new items, offering both cost savings and environmental benefits by reducing electronic waste. Many of these products originate from open-box returns or previously owned items that have been restored to like-new condition. Logitech’s refurbished devices are now available on the Logitech eBay Refurbished brand store and through Logitech’s websites. This move allows consumers to access high-quality technology at a lower cost, supporting the trend of thrifting for unique and affordable tech solutions.

Sacni Leon, Head of DTX Operations, Returns & Asset Recovery at Logitech, emphasised that consumers play a crucial role in moving towards a waste-free circular economy. Logitech’s refurbished program provides high-quality, affordable alternatives to new products, aligning with their commitment to waste reduction and product longevity. Kumaran Adithyan, General Manager, Global Electronics and Home, eBay, highlighted the growing consumer preference for refurbished items, which not only offer cost savings but also help minimise e-waste. The launch of the official Logitech branded store marks a significant step in expanding their refurbished product offerings.
